COVID-19 Notices

Listed below are closure, postponements, hour changes, and Free lunch offerings for local Manitowoc County businesses. Please note that as this progresses, these may change daily.

These changes will help associates restock the shelves for customers while continuing to clean and sanitize the stores. The safety of the customers and workers is the main priority.  Please stay home unless it is essential business. 

Walmart - Open from 7 am - 8:30 pm
From March 24 through April 28, Walmart stores will host an hour-long senior shopping event every Tuesday for customers aged 60 and older. This will start one hour before the store opens. Our Pharmacies and Vision Centers will also be open during this time.

Festival Foods - Open 5:00 am - 7:00 am for senior citizens and those with underlying health conditions.  Open 7:00 am - 9:00 pm for all other shoppers. 

Pick 'n
Save - Open 6:00 am - 8:00 am for seniors and those with underlying health conditions.  Open 8:00 am - 9:00 pm all other shoppers.  All pharmacies are open normal hours.

Piggly Wiggly - Manitowoc and Two Rivers -Open 6:00 am - 7:00 am for senior citizens and at risk individuals only.  7:00 am - 8:00 pm for all other shoppers. 

Walgreens - Open 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. 24 hour drive thru pharmacies will still operate as normal.

Dollar General - Open 8:00 am - 9:00 pm for senior citizens. 9:00 am - 9:00 pm for everyone else. This is for the Mishicot and Two Rivers stores.

 All Hair salons, barber shops, nail salons, days spas, tattoo parlors, body art establishments, and tanning facilities are closed.

MPU - Closing to the public effective 4:30 pm on Monday, March 23 until further notice.  Customer service is open from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm available by phone at 920-683-4600 or email.

Manitowoc Schools are offering Free lunches for kids 18 and under (public and private - no forms or registration required)

  • Franklin - 800 South 35th St from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
  • Jefferson - 1415 Division St from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
  • Madison - 701 North 4th St from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Two Rivers Schools are offering drive thru breakfast and lunch for all children under the age of 18 and up to the age of 21 for those with special disabilities.  Please take advantage of this Free service!

  • Koenig - 1114 Lowell St from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
  • Magee - 3502 Glenwood St from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

The following schools are offering Free Breakfast and Lunch to any child 18 and under and 21 and under for people with disabilities. No questions will be asked, just let us know how many you need when you drive to the site. You can pick up for your neighbors children, your grandchildren etc. Please help everyone out during this time of crisis.

  • Town of Gibson at 14920 CTH Q - 10:45 am - 11:15 am
  • Village of Maribel at 14905 Mulberry St - 11:30 am - 12:00 pm
  • Town of Cooperstown at 11626 HWY Z - 12:15 pm - 12:45 pm

Wisconsin State Parks and Trails - open to the public.  Buildings are closed (some restrooms are open).  Admission to parks and trails is voluntary.  Wisconsin Waters are open and you can fish with a license.
