 Real estate documents such as deeds, mortgages, certified survey maps and land contracts for Manitowoc County property are recorded in our office. Receipts - Treasurer's Office
 Generate a receipt for all monies received, such as other department deposits, guardian-ad-litem, insurance, current real estate taxes, delinquent real estate taxes, municipality tax settlements, municipality dog licenses, computer access fees, sale of maps and property information.

Record Maintenance - Register in Probate
 The office maintains all probate court records for Manitowoc County. In the event of an appeal, the office is charged with the duty to prepare the record for the Court of Appeals. As part of the Wisconsin Court System, office's activities are reported to the Director of State Courts. State law provides for mandatory retention requirements of up to 100 years for some case types and permanent records for adoptions; compliance requires extensive storage and cataloging facilities.
Recruitment - Personnel
 Coordination of recruitment for all positions excluding represented Health Care Center positions, including the administration of all pre-employment tests. Participates in all employment interviews; completes reference and background checks. Acts as Manitowoc County's representative in making offers of employment. Conducts employee orientations 920-683-4060
Recycling - Public Works
 Coordinates the recycling program for the County.
Recycling Center - Public Works
 The MRF (Materials Recycling Facility) receives and processes, recyclable paper, cardboard, plastics, glass and cans from curbside collections, residential, commercial drop-offs delivered by private haulers and residents of Manitowoc County. These recyclables are then sorted, processed and marketed.
Recycling Educational Materials and Facility Tours - Public Works
 Educational materials on recycling are available at the MRF (Materials Recycling Facility) on Basswood Road. MRF tours can be arranged by calling 683-4333.
Refugee Assistance - Human Services Department - Economic Support Services at the Job Center
 Refugee Assistance is a work-based program which provides cash benefits for the first eight months after a refugee enters the United States.

Report and Document Generation - Information Systems
 I.S. generates and publishes informational and statistical reports for inter-departmental purposes as well as generating special documents for all Departments, including Payroll and Accounts Payable checks, Tax bills and Assessment Notices, W2's and 1099's, etc.
Residential Recyclables Drop-off Area - Public Works
 The County maintains a drop-off area just south of the MRF (Materials Recycling Facility) on Basswood Road. These bins are set up for county residents to drop-off recyclable materials like paper, news paper, cardboard, plastic containers, glass and cans.
Road and Address Mapping - Information Systems - GIS
 The Manitowoc County GIS Office maintains road centerlines, point addresses, and other public safety layers used for emergency dispatching.
