A few select vendors, and people selling their excess horse equipment from rented table spaces will provide plenty of shopping variety. Door prizes and two silent auctions will also give you the chance to acquire treasures you didn’t know you needed.
Mini-seminars by local experts include:
Are We Overmedicating Our Horses?
Obstacle Training for Obedience & Agility
Engaging Youth Through Online Education
Check out the schedule details. A “No Silver-No Sequins” Open Horse Show on Sunday, May 5 will be held in the Horse-A-Rama multi-purpose building. Fancy saddles & show clothes are not required to participate, and there will be a fair number of beginner classes to encourage all horse owners to give showing a try at a fun, educational, no-pressure show. There will be fun for kids without horses too, as there will be supplies to make their own stick horse from 10am to noon, followed by their own judged class!
There is no admission for the general public to come out to watch this event, but usual horse show fees will apply to exhibitors. Horse-A-Rama, Inc. is a volunteer organization with a 501(c)(3) status, and a public charity to which donations are tax deductible. All profits from our fundraising events go directly into the building and maintenance of the equine facilities at the Manitowoc County Expo, which are some of the finest around. Come out to one of Horse-A-Rama’s mini-events to help support our mission! Or visit any of the fine horse shows held at the Expo throughout the summer to see the quality horses owned by your neighbors here in northeast Wisconsin!
