Child care payment assistance is available for low-income employed parents.  A co-payment may be required.

FoodShare supplements the food budget for low-income households.  The FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET) program is available to FoodShare recipients.  FSET participants may be eligible for short-term training, case management and support services. 


Medicaid provides medical services to low-income families with children, pregnant women, elderly and disabled individuals, including assistance with nursing home costs.  A co-payment or premium may be required for some types of Medicaid.

Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP)

WHEAP provides assistance with fuel and utility expenses for low-income households.  The program also provides weatherization and furnace repair for energy-inefficient homes.  Crisis payments and proactive case management services are available for individuals whose heat or utilities are being disconnected by the vendor.
