The mission of the Manitowoc County Human Services Department is to promote a healthy community by providing services that strengthen and empower individuals and families.
The Department is mandated to provide an extensive array of social services, financial benefits and rehabilitation to statutorily designated groups of Manitowoc County residents. The agency serves approximately 5,000 clients per year. The Department is organized into four divisions: Business Operations, Children & Families, Clinical Services, and Economic Support. The annual budget is $17.7 million dollars and is distributed over 27 different program areas.
