The Manitowoc County Emergency Management department is involved in the mitigation of emergencies through planning, preparedness, response, and recovery from natural and man-made emergencies.
We assist through county planning, training & exercise programs, and agency coordination in order to help maintain public and private sector readiness. During an incident, we assist Incident Command from our Emergency Operations Center.
We work to inform the community and bring everyone to the table for planning and preparedness. We assist businesses, schools, and other organizations with plans and connect them with resources.
