REAL ESTATE
 Real estate documents such as deeds, mortgages, certified survey maps and land contracts for Manitowoc County property are recorded in our office. UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE (UCC) INFORMATION
 As of July 1, 2001, UCC filings (except for those attached to real estate), that were formerly sent to Manitowoc County, should be filed with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI). Financing statements that received Continuations in the prior system need special handling. The documents that were previously titled, Assignments, Continuations & Partial Releases, are not titled Amendments. Please check with the DFI Website at: Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions for additional information on exact procedures, new forms and fees. Financing statements that attach to real property are now recorded with the local register of deeds office at the current recording fee rate.
VITAL RECORDS
 Our office has copies of birth, death and marriage records that occurred in Manitowoc County dating back to the 1850's. Copies can be obtained in person or mail by downloading an application form. Simply click on Forms/Documents in the green bar above. There you will see Birth, Death or Marriage Record Application forms.
