To accurately receipt and disburse all monies belonging to Manitowoc County, cash management, collection of postponed and delinquent property taxes, and tax settlements with 30 municipalities. Maintain an accurate list of eligible lottery credit parcels, and responsible for foreclosing on tax delinquent properties, maintaining delinquent real estate tax records, and for the sale of these foreclosed properties. The Treasurer is also the investment officer for the County.
Included here also, is the Property Listing Office. Their mission is to provide maps, legal descriptions, and parcel information to the general public and agencies needing this information. They also provide services to all local municipalities which enable them to prepare the real and personal property assessment and tax rolls.
