Wisconsin's Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) helps you pay for your home evergy costs. The program is operated by county departments of social/human services, Indian tribal agencies and community agencies under the direction of the State Department of Administration, Division of Energy. Please call the Aging Resource to schedule an appointment at (920) 683-4180. You may apply once each heating season. Heating season begins September 1st and ends August 31st. Applications are processed until May 15th only. You MUST have the following required information: Proof of all income (Includes Social Security, pensions, annuities, interest, dividends, IRA withdrawals, rental income (dwelling or land) Social Security Card Last 12 months printout of your fuel usage. Last 12 monthe printout of your utility costs. Homestead Credit Aplication Copy (if applicable)
