Manitowoc County is beginning the process of updating its General Zoning Ordinance and corresponding map.

The intent of the project is to provide a comprehensive review and update to the Zoning Ordinance that was originally adopted in 1965 and address the present day land use issues facing Manitowoc County. In addition the update will ensure that zoning regulations are reasonably consistent with the goals and objectives identified within the Manitowoc County 20-Year Comprehensive Plan that was adopted by the Manitowoc County Board in 2009.
